Built with a purpose.
Backed by science.
After 25 years in the pharmaceutical industry, Bryce Emery King witnessed a critical gap in the wellness space: few supplement brands truly reflected the needs of African Americans — and even fewer were Black-owned.
With ChewViva, Bryce brings that same science-driven focus to everyday wellness — offering culturally relevant, premium supplements designed to support melanin-rich bodies and help close the gap in representation.

A name that blends simplicity & strength
“Chew” reflects the form — approachable, easy-to-take gummies.
“Viva,” from the Latin vivere, means to live.
Together, ChewViva stands for a celebration of life, health, and vitality — especially for communities that have long been underserved in the wellness industry.

Meet
Bryce Emery King
With over two decades in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries, Bryce Emery King has spent his career championing health equity — promoting breakthrough treatments in oncology, diabetes, hypertension, and sickle cell disease.
A proud graduate of Alabama A&M University, one of the nation’s leading HBCUs, Bryce brings a culturally grounded perspective to wellness — shaped by both his lived experience and professional expertise.
Throughout his career, he saw a recurring pattern: while African Americans faced some of the highest disease burdens, they remained underrepresented in clinical trials and overlooked in everyday wellness solutions.
ChewViva was born from Bryce’s drive to change that — blending science, representation, and real-world experience to deliver culturally relevant supplements made for melanin-rich wellness.
ChewViva isn't just business: it's personal

Founded as a Wellness Company
ChewViva was founded as a wellness company rooted in science — and driven by a mission to center the often-overlooked needs of Black communities in everyday self-care.
The first step: founder Bryce Emery King tapped into his deep experience and network in biotech and pharmaceuticals to reimagine the multivitamin — developing a line of daily supplements thoughtfully formulated for melanin-rich skin, hair, and wellness needs too often ignored by mainstream brands.
And this is just the beginning.
A launch date to honor freedom
Inspired by the symbolism of new opportunities, ChewViva launched on Juneteenth — the day in 1865 when the last enslaved people in Texas were finally declared free.
“Juneteenth represents resilience, delayed justice, and progress,” says King. “As a Black founder, it carries deep personal meaning — and it’s part of ChewViva’s DNA.”
“I didn’t just want to launch a product. I wanted to help launch a movement — one where cultural awareness, representation, and wellness finally meet on the same shelf.”
